Plaud is hiring a Wearable Electronics Hardware Engineer to design and develop electronic systems for AI wearable prototypes, including schematic design, system architecture, board bring-up, sensor integration, debugging, and validation. The role collaborates with mechanical and firmware engineers, evaluates electronic feasibility, and prepares validated designs for handoff to the Shenzhen engineering team. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least five years of experience in consumer electronics, IoT, or wearable device development, and expertise in embedded hardware, low-power electronics, sensors, batteries, and wireless technologies. The position offers a $150,000–$200,000 base salary plus performance bonus and equity, with hybrid work requiring at least three days in the office per week.
