Description
The Municipality of Anchorage is hiring a Web Services Supervisor to oversee the Web Applications team and manage the implementation, enhancement, maintenance, operation, and support of application software for municipal business units. The role reports to the IT Portfolio Manager, coordinates team effort and resource allocation, advises IT Management on team status and customer needs, and reviews system changes for compliance with contracts, policies, and industry best practices. The position is based at City Hall in Anchorage, Alaska, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent with 10 years of related professional experience, or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree with 8 or 6 years of related experience respectively, including two years at the supervisory level.
