Description
The Welder performs a variety of welding processes and methods to fabricate metal parts and accessories for storage-tank projects. The role includes fit-up, welding in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions, metal identification, blueprint reading, cutting, grinding, and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrate welding competency through visual and fillet-break or radiography testing, and be able to perform flux-core, sub-arc, or gas-metal-arc welds in 1 through 3 groove positions.
