Description
The Welding Training Specialist designs and delivers welding training for new hires, apprentices, and experienced welders across multiple facilities. The role instructs MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding; develops curriculum and materials; evaluates trainees; enforces safety and quality standards; maintains training facilities; and supports AWS, ASME, or company-specific certification processes. Candidates need prior welding-training or mentoring experience, proficiency in multiple welding processes, knowledge of welding codes and safety regulations, and at least five years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting or equivalent industrial training and curriculum-design experience.
