MAT Holdings Inc. is seeking a Weld Tester to evaluate the integrity and quality of welds in various materials and products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. The role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and documenting results to maintain high-quality manufacturing processes. The Weld Tester will be responsible for testing and inspecting pressurized tanks, repetitive lifting of materials up to 50 lbs, operating air tools, hoists, hand tools, grinders, sanders, and weld torches. The position requires the ability to understand blueprints, identify welding defects, and use weld gauges. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, a team player, quality-minded, and possess good work habits and attendance. The compensation is $18.50 per hour for a first-shift position, working four 10-hour days.
