Description
The Welding Repair Technician performs metal-part repair and fabrication work, including gas welding, brazing, arc welding, thermal cutting, grinding, crack repair, overlay welding, component positioning, and quality inspection. The role requires reading blueprints and engineering drawings, operating welding equipment and overhead cranes, using precision measuring tools, and following safety and quality procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent and 2–5 years of stick, TIG, and MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment are required; heavy cross-section welding experience is a plus.
