Description
The GTAW Welder performs gas-tungsten-arc welding on aerospace assemblies, including preparing and cleaning metal, setting up welding machines and fixtures, reading blueprints and work orders, inspecting welds and assemblies, completing process-control samples and paperwork, and following safety and compliance procedures. The role requires GTAW, AWS D17.1, and PWA 16 certifications, at least three years of welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with bench tools, gauges, Microsoft Office, and communication skills.
