Description
Philips is hiring an onsite Welder - 2nd Shift at its Latham, New York manufacturing site to fabricate intricate cryogenic assemblies. The role involves TIG and MIG welding, cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, reading drawings, and performing vacuum leak-tight aluminum welds. Candidates need at least one year of welding experience, mechanical assembly-tool experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, bridge crane and forklift experience, and the ability to follow and sign off on documentation. The position works Monday through Friday from 3:20 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with a New York base pay range of $18.10 to $28.96 and no visa sponsorship.
