Description
The Welder fabricates and assembles pre-fab and machined transformer components in a heavy-manufacturing environment. The role involves setting up, marking, loading, welding, inspecting, repairing, and finishing assemblies using MIG, TIG, stick, stud, and other welding methods, along with grinders, sanders, cranes, and powered industrial vehicles. Operators must follow technical drawings and specifications, maintain safety and quality standards, and assist in training new operators. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while prior experience in welding, heavy mechanical, manufacturing, or power equipment is preferred.
