Valtir is hiring Welders for its second shift at the Pell City, Alabama plant. The role involves joining, surfacing, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials, operating fabrication machinery, measuring within tolerances, and reading blueprints and schematics. The shift runs Monday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with a starting rate of $22.50 to $27.50 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential. Applicants need at least one year of welding experience, AWS 1.1 3G vertical-up weld test qualification, knowledge of fillet and groove welding equipment, blueprint-reading ability, teamwork, communication, and regular attendance.
