Description
The Welder performs heavy shipyard construction welding at Hanwha Philly Shipyard, including FCAW, SMAW, SAW, EGW, automated welding, stainless-steel fillet welding, joint preparation, carbon-arc gouging, and internal quality checks. The role requires interpreting approved WPS, maintaining NDT rejection records, troubleshooting and maintaining welding equipment, working independently and in teams, and performing internal quality checks. It is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position with no supervisory responsibilities, and the posting prefers a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of welding experience, and welding robotics and programming knowledge.
