Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring a Welder/Maintenance Technician to support the safe and continuous operation of its Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, Ontario. Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, the role performs FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, oxyacetylene, SMAW, and carbon-arc gouging welding; installs ductwork, light fixtures, vents, fans, metal sheeting, and other parts; repairs mobile equipment; performs box and bucket re-lines; deburs and grinds metal; and coordinates with field crews. The position requires a school diploma, a welder’s license, experience reading diagrams and schematics, CMMS experience, and five years of similar experience, with mining equipment experience preferred. The schedule is a 4/3 rotation.
