Description
The Welder sets up and operates welding equipment, fabricates jigs and fixtures, reads blueprints, performs inspections, and leads and trains welders to meet quality and production standards. The role requires basic math, safety knowledge, organization, communication, physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and flexibility for additional hours. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, while 2–3 years of machine-shop welding experience and 1 year of supervisory or lead experience are preferred.
