Matrec is hiring a permanent full-time Welder at 1701 Airport Road, L'Ancienne-Lorette, QC. The role involves repairing and maintaining garbage trucks, garbage compactors, roll-off boxes, and front-load containers; fabricating and assembling metal parts; and cutting and preparing parts with plasma and oxy-acetylene processes. The position requires a DEP in Welding and Assembly, at least three years of welding experience, proficiency in GMAW and FCAW, and compliance with occupational health and safety rules. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with group insurance paid 100% by the employer. GFL does not provide visa sponsorship.
