Description
Red Dot Buildings is hiring a structural steel fabrication welder to weld clips, connection plates, and other components onto structural steel members. The role follows weld maps, welding procedure specifications, AWS D1.1 and D1.3 standards, and shop requirements, while also inspecting fit-up and completed welds, setting up welding equipment, operating overhead cranes, using rigging practices, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. Candidates need welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or structural steel environment, along with knowledge of weld symbols, joint preparation, and equipment setup; AWS D1.1 or D1.3 familiarity, crane and rigging experience, and strong quality and safety practices are preferred.
