Thornton Engineering is hiring skilled welders for its Corio workshops. The role involves interpreting weld procedure specifications, selecting consumables and welding variables, operating and maintaining measuring, power, hand, and welding equipment, and producing fabricated steel parts. Candidates need a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade - Welder or equivalent, adequate welding skills, considerable GMAW (MIG) experience, and a current and valid driver's license; experience with GTAW, flux-core, SMAW, and stainless steel is advantageous.
