S&C Electric Company is hiring a Welder-Basic for a 2nd-shift manufacturing role from Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with overtime during the week and every other Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The position performs manual and semi-automatic welding to assemble, fabricate, and repair metal structures and parts; operates welding equipment; reads blueprints and specifications; inspects and deburs welded work; maintains equipment; and supports production, quality, safety, and continuous-improvement goals. The estimated hourly pay is $25.00, with eligibility for an annual short-term incentive bonus. Applicants need a high school diploma or recognized welding apprenticeship, 1–2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or related environment, and proficiency in welding techniques, metallurgy, welding symbols, MIG welding, blueprint interpretation, and equipment maintenance.
