Description
The Welder will fabricate and weld pre-fitted assemblies for Columbia-class submarines, Virginia-class submarines, Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers, and associated fixtures, following NAVSEA and AWS D1.1 specifications. The role requires proficiency in all welding positions, equipment selection, machine setup and troubleshooting, welding-symbol interpretation, grinding, gouging, and weld repair, along with successful completion of specified weld tests and Pegasus Welder Workmanship Training.
