Description
The Welder performs electric-arc and other welding operations to join steel, titanium, copper, and other metals for bridges, roads, highways, underground utilities, and other construction projects. The role includes interpreting blueprints, selecting and setting up welding equipment, monitoring machines, ensuring welds meet specifications, and cutting or trimming metal. It requires outdoor work in all weather, long hours, physical lifting and movement, and 3–5 years of industry experience focused on roads, highways, and bridges.
