Description
The Field Welder performs structural stick welding, cutting, fabrication, and repair work on marine structures such as seawalls, pump stations, docks, and foundations. The role includes splicing sheet piles, installing connectors and Nelson studs, fabricating rigging and driving templates, preparing and finishing joints, repairing heavy equipment and barges, and maintaining welding equipment. It requires strong SMAW proficiency, the ability to work safely over water, on barges, and from scaffolding, and adherence to marine construction safety standards.
