Description
Vital Link Inc. is seeking a Welder I to weld structural steel assemblies and parts for jet engine test facilities and sound suppression systems. The role requires following shop drawings, work orders, company procedures, project specifications, American Welding Society standards, and ISO9000 requirements; maintaining equipment and supplies; cleaning welds and base metal; documenting inspections and work-router steps; and delivering completed work to painting/shipping. The position is primarily outdoors and in an open shop, involves moderate to heavy physical labor and lifting up to 40 pounds, requires passing AWS 2G and 3G structural-steel welding tests, and may include occasional weekend work, extended hours, and travel.
