Wabtec is hiring a Welder III at 4800 Deramus Ave, Kansas City, Missouri, to perform advanced welding, complex repairs, weld build-up, high-pressure welding, code welding, and critical applications for locomotive component remanufacturing and repair. The role requires advanced welding-process knowledge, blueprint and welding-procedure interpretation, defect identification, precision measurement, qualification testing, and mentoring of less experienced welders. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible overtime on Fridays and Saturdays, and the stated base salary is $30.50.
