Schmid GmbH is hiring a Welder (m/f/d) for its series manufacturing plant and construction sites across Germany, with the company headquarters in Simmerberg / Allgäu. The role involves welding thin-gauge metal parts using MAG, MIG, and WIG processes, tack assemblies, riveting ceiling elements, preparing and maintaining equipment, producing sample parts, and inspecting workpieces. Applicants need structural mechatronics mechanic training or a comparable welding qualification, experience with thin-gauge metal welding, basic production-drawing knowledge, German communication skills, and willingness to work shifts.
