Description
The employer is seeking a WIG welder for a long-term assignment with a client in Hagen. The role involves welding individual parts, assemblies, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers; preparing, clamping, and positioning components; following technical drawings and welding plans; controlling preheating and interpass temperatures; fitting nozzles and flanges; post-processing weld seams; performing in-house inspections; and operating overhead cranes, forklift trucks, and other auxiliary equipment. The position requires at least three years of professional WIG welding experience, valid certifications for different diameters, wall thicknesses, and materials, and preferably three years of skilled trades training.
