The Welder V is a six-month temp-to-hire position in Houston, Texas, paying $24–$25 per hour on W2. The role is second-shift only, with a 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. 12-hour schedule Monday through Friday, followed by a day-shift start for required safety training. The welder will perform open-root 1/8-inch TIG welding, auto MIG, and Sub Arc welding on 22- to 38-inch diameter pipe with 2-inch wall thickness, and may supervise a team of welders.
