Description
Wabtec is hiring a Welder to support the fabrication of locomotive and mining components. The role includes FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding, component assembly, plasma and air-arc cutting, leak and pressure testing, basic machining, piping, wiring, painting, material handling, and manufacturing improvement activities. The position requires a welding program graduate with one year of welding experience or three years of industrial/construction welding experience, AWS D1.1 qualification, and the ability to work the second shift. Starting pay is $34.10 per hour, with progression to $35.24 after six months and $36.40 after four years, plus a $1 per hour night-shift differential.
