Philips is hiring an onsite Welding/Brazing Manufacturing Engineer to support production of large industrial superconducting MRI magnets. The role interfaces with production management, quality engineering, design engineering, supplier quality engineering, and production technicians, and involves welding or brazing technologies, tooling and fixture design, automation, process validation, root cause analysis, equipment troubleshooting, and statistical process analysis. Candidates need at least two years of manufacturing experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and strong communication skills. The position is based in Lathem, New York, with in-person work at least three days per week, and offers a base salary of $95,250 to $152,400 per year.
