Description

The Welding Coordinator / Engineer will maintain and audit the ISO 3834-2 Welding Quality Management System, evaluate and qualify suppliers, support welding-related proposals and projects, resolve welding issues, and substitute for the Welding Coordinator of Service Production in Varkaus. The role requires a relevant M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree, IWE qualification, at least five years of welding-coordinator experience, ISO 3834 knowledge, Finnish and English communication skills, and availability for domestic and international travel.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in a relevant technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of experience as a Welding Coordinator in a manufacturing environment, certification body, or similar organization
Preferred Qualifications: International Welding Engineering (IWE) qualification
Strong practical knowledge of the ISO 3834 standard and its implementation
Strong written and spoken Finnish and English communication skills
