Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Welding Engineer for an onsite role in Sheffield to support advanced defence manufacturing and fabrication activities. The position involves investigating welding defects, developing and maintaining Welding Procedure Specifications and Procedure Qualification Records, reviewing non-conformances, supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions, improving welding quality and efficiency, and maintaining compliance documentation. The role requires experience with WPS and PQR qualification, welding coordination, ISO 3834 or PED compliance, TIG and PAW processes, and preferably experience in defence, aerospace, pressure-vessel, oil and gas, or other highly regulated industries.
