Description
Keel is hiring a Welding Engineer III to lead complex welding engineering activities from concept through production. The role owns welding procedures, qualifications, strategies, automation, robotics, equipment, quality, standards, and technical documentation; resolves complex welding and fabrication issues; mentors Welding Engineers I and II; and provides technical leadership across engineering, quality, production, and operations. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in welding engineering or a related discipline, extensive heavy-fabrication and code-compliant welding experience, advanced knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, NDE, and robotic welding, and the ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
