Description
The Welding Engineer develops and maintains welding procedures, welder qualification programs, WPS/PQR documentation, and welding execution plans for fabrication and construction projects. The role also optimizes welding processes, reviews customer drawings and welding requirements, sources materials, supports automatic welding systems, and supervises metallurgical laboratory work, welding school activities, welder training, and vendor welding documents. The position requires a four-year bachelor's degree in Welding, Metallurgical, or Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of experience in welding or metallurgy within the fabrication and construction industry.
