Description
The Welding Engineer will serve as the technical contact for manufacturability, supplier selection, international welding-inspection acceptance, process optimization, welding audits, welding instructions and qualification tests, new manufacturing-process evaluation, welding equipment design and qualification, work-safety activities, and welding personnel selection. The role requires a mechanical-engineering degree or completed apprenticeship with additional Welding Specialist Engineer qualification, several years of comparable experience, welding standards knowledge, MS Office and SAP Q skills, strong German and English, and willingness to travel. The position is based at the company site in Kiel and offers flexible working models, including partial mobile work.
