Description
SpaceX is hiring a Welding Engineer to support the manufacturing and development of Falcon 9 and Starship launch vehicles, Dragon spacecraft, and Starlink satellites. The role develops, qualifies, and optimizes welding processes and parameters across multiple welding technologies, supports production and design engineering, leads weld qualification and NDE testing, improves process control and automated welding solutions, and investigates root causes of welding issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering and hands-on experience with welded assemblies; the position may require travel to SpaceX facilities in Texas and Washington state and offers a base salary of $100,000–$140,000 depending on level, along with medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
