Axis Automation is hiring a Welding Engineer Intern to design, implement, document, and troubleshoot custom automated welding machinery. The intern will prepare welding specifications, WPS and PQR documentation, weld maps, and destructive-test records; inspect completed welding; develop solutions for nonstandard problems; analyze equipment and systems; and learn basic programming. The role requires current enrollment or recent graduation in Welding Engineering or a related engineering field, domestic travel averaging 10%, and experience with welding processes, robots, specifications, and WPS/PQRs.
