Description
SGS is hiring Welding Inspectors on an as-needed basis across multiple United States locations. The role performs visual, in-process, and post-weld inspections; witnesses and verifies non-destructive testing; reviews welding procedures and quality documents; and ensures compliance with codes such as ASME, AWS, and API. Applicants need welding inspection qualifications and at least five years of industrial welding-related inspection experience, including two years in quality assurance, vendor surveillance, or shop inspections, plus 5–10 years of industry experience, mainly in oil and gas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8–10 hours per day, with no fixed schedule and payment of $40–$45 per hour plus $0.70 per kilometer.
