Description
The Welding Supervisor/Inspector plans, manages, controls, and supervises welding activities while ensuring compliance with construction codes, international standards, and customer specifications. The role leads welding specialists, engineers, technicians, and inspectors; qualifies welding procedures and operators; resolves quality problems; supports continuous improvement; and manages multidisciplinary teams. It requires a bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or a related engineering field, CWI or higher certification, and either two years in an equivalent position or three years as a certified welding inspector, along with knowledge of welding codes, laboratory testing, personnel management, and cross-functional problem solving.
