Description
The Spool Supervisor leads daily pipe spool fabrication activities in a manufacturing shop, including fit-up, welding, cutting, assembly, inspection preparation, production scheduling, quality monitoring, material coordination, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. The role also supervises and develops pipe fitters, welders, helpers, and fabricators, while coordinating with quality control, welding inspectors, materials, and management. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of relevant fabrication experience, prior supervisory experience, and knowledge of piping standards, welding processes, and industrial safety.
