Description
SpaceX is hiring a Welding Supervisor for its Hawthorne Aft Thermal Protection System production team, which builds and assembles Starship thermal protection subassemblies. The role leads an hourly workforce of welders and technicians, manages production scheduling and personnel development, recruits and mentors new employees, tracks shop-floor metrics, collaborates with engineering, and maintains safety, quality, and continuous-improvement standards. The position requires a bachelor’s or associate degree or 5+ years of welding experience, 2+ years of leadership experience, and the ability to work the first shift, overtime, weekends, and physically demanding conditions. Compensation is $110,000–$140,000 per year, with medical, vision, dental, retirement, disability, life, paid leave, and other benefits.
