Empire is hiring a Welding Technician to repair and rebuild structurally failed or worn metal parts through welding and fabrication at the Bagdad Mine Site. The role involves operating welding equipment, interpreting sketches and diagrams, preparing service reports, controlling repair costs, maintaining equipment, and working safely in adverse shop and field conditions. Candidates need at least six months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, a current driver’s license, AWS D1.1 and D14.3 certification, English communication skills, and the ability to pass a skills assessment. The position pays $21.20–$60.08 per hour and requires a first/Day shift.
