Description
The role is a welding technology consultant based in Leonding, Austria, responsible for planning, reviewing, and auditing manufacturer approvals and certification processes; conducting welder, brazing, and procedure tests; supporting audits and customer compliance; evaluating technical documentation and qualifications; advising on welding codes and quality requirements; contributing to customer acquisition; and performing field service in Austria and abroad. The position requires technical education, International Welding Engineer or welding technologist training, several years of relevant experience, knowledge of EN ISO 9606, EN ISO 3834, and EN 1090, and international travel of approximately 10%. The minimum salary is €56,581.70 gross per year, with market-conforming overpayment possible.
