Description
The WEM Tester safely pressure- and leak-tests grey iron, ductile iron, steel, and stainless-steel castings, as well as boilers, tanks, fittings, and pipes, using compressed air or water. The role includes assembling parts, inspecting for defects, measuring and logging test results, marking defective or successful parts, deburring, preparing work orders, and locating leaks. It requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of simple assembly experience, basic math and measurement skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stand and perform physical work for extended periods.
