Description
The role develops and optimizes wet etch processes for VCSELs, photodiodes, and edge-emitting lasers on GaAs and InP substrates, including etch chemistry, selectivity, undercut control, metrology, process troubleshooting, SPC, recipe development, and equipment qualification. It requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in a relevant field and at least 10 years of hands-on semiconductor wet-etch process development experience, with cleanroom, chemical, and cross-functional collaboration requirements. The position also includes mentoring junior engineers and may involve ISO quality and environmental responsibilities.
