Coherent Corp. is hiring an experienced semiconductor wet etch process engineer to develop, optimize, characterize, and integrate wet etch processes for GaAs- and InP-based optoelectronic devices including VCSELs, photodiodes, and edge-emitting lasers. The role involves wet etch chemistry and selectivity optimization, metrology-based process verification, troubleshooting, SPC/DOE-driven improvement, equipment and chemistry qualification, documentation, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership in a cleanroom and hazardous-chemical environment.
