Description
The employer is hiring a wheel loader operator for a client in the Port of Ghent to load and unload dry-bulk products such as coal, ores, and minerals; prepare orders; transport raw materials to washing or screening installations; move materials along the quay; and maintain a clean and orderly workplace. The role requires knowledge of wheel-loader standards and regulations, preferably a valid wheel-loader certificate, teamwork, accuracy, stress resistance, and willingness to work rotating two shifts, weekends, and holidays. The position offers a permanent contract after induction, rotating shifts, vacation and additional ADV days, performance-based compensation, fringe benefits, training, and a team-oriented work environment.
