Description
Lane County WIC is hiring a Nutritionist/Dietician to provide nutrition assessment, counseling, follow-up care, eligibility screening, food-package assignment, eWIC-card issuance, and shopper education for participants with complex health conditions and growth concerns. The role also manages high-risk caseloads, develops care plans, supports lactation, coordinates with health-care providers, and contributes to outreach, training, procedures, and nutrition-service planning. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential two evening shifts per month, and requires a bachelor's-level education in foods and nutrition, dietetics, or a related field, two years of nutrition or dietetics experience, and ADA registration or eligibility to register and pass the exam within six months.
