Description
The Wireless Systems Design Validation Engineer will develop and execute test methodologies for validating WiFi connectivity performance, including throughput, RvR, MIMO, OFDMA, beamforming, and coexistence. The role collaborates with design and system integration/test engineers to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems, while developing automation frameworks and conducting hands-on laboratory testing of PHY/MAC functionality. The position requires a bachelor's degree, strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards, and programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C#; advanced degrees, laboratory testing experience, wireless test-automation experience, RF equipment proficiency, and network-analysis familiarity are preferred.
