eero is hiring a Software Development Engineer to work on whole-home connectivity for its products. The role is split between 50% customer-issue escalation and troubleshooting, and 50% feature development, software integration, and tooling improvements. Responsibilities include solving connectivity issues, optimizing WiFi performance in OS kernels, implementing mesh-network protocols, debugging kernel-level performance, improving wireless-driver and firmware integration, and leading testing enhancements. The role requires at least three years of computer science fundamentals and full software development lifecycle experience, programming experience, and WiFi software development experience with 802.11 protocols.
