Description
The employer is seeking an on-site contractor Wind Tunnel Model Maker to fabricate, assemble, modify, and finish high-precision aerodynamic models and rigs for wind tunnel testing. The role requires interpreting technical drawings and CAD models, using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other workshop tools, working with metals, composites, plastics, and thin-walled structures, and collaborating with engineers and aerodynamicists. Experience in high-precision model making, preferably in aerospace, motorsport, or R&D, along with manual and CNC machining skills, is essential.
