Description
Jane Street is hiring a full-time Windows Engineering intern to work alongside full-time employees in its IT department. The intern will learn how to design, deploy, secure, and maintain automation tools and infrastructure supporting Windows desktop and server estates, including work on Windows automation, configuration management, CI/CD, cross-platform frameworks, software development environments, monitoring, and deployment workflows. The role involves writing code, exploring technologies, and learning OCaml, F#, and PowerShell, with requirements including programming ability, .NET language experience, operating system and computer architecture knowledge, basic network protocol understanding, familiarity with AI/LLMs and prompt engineering, strong communication, and command-line comfort.
