Description
The Windows Security Engineer will harden, monitor, and improve security across endpoints, servers, identity systems, and supporting infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing Microsoft Defender, EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanning, patching, Windows security controls, incident investigation, identity and access management, security assessments, compliance checks, documentation, automation, and secure deployment reviews. The role requires strong Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, EDR, SIEM, PowerShell or Python, vulnerability management, network security, and Azure security knowledge, along with at least five years of similar experience.
